In the beginning was the Tao,
and the Tao was with God,
and the Tao was God.
The Tao was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through the Tao,
and without the Tao nothing was made that was made.
In the Tao was life,
and the life was the light of men.
And the light of the Tao shines in the darkness,
and the darkness did not comprehend it.
The Tao was in th world,
and the world was made through the Tao,
and the world did not know the Tao.
The Tao became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we beheld the Tao's glory.
